Safari Sara Saves the Elephants

Help me save the Elephants! No animal will kill an elephant ~
only people kills elephants. I think that is very sad. :(

You know Sara, I don't think I have told you yet that my very favorite animal, ever since I was a baby, has been elephants, especially Asian ones. I have a baby elephant named "Dumbo" I've had since I was born (will have to show you one day). It makes me sad there are poachers also and am so proud of you for doing something to help the situation. You are an amazing girl, Miss Sara, and I will be praying for you to make a huge impact on peoples hearts so others are moved to help elephants as well. -Pastor Laura

WHY

This is Sara's Mom. I was teaching Sara's Sunday School class and asked the children what they were afraid of, expecting to hear from my daughter something like, "the dark", "the boogieman", instead she looks at me and said, "I am afraid that when I am a grown up it will be too late to save the elephants from the poachers, and no one will want to go to Africa with me." I did not know what to say to my sweet baby at first, but I knew it had to be good. So I asked her who ever said a 6 year old couldn't save the elephants right now, she didn't have to wait to be a grown up. We thought of a few things we could do and came up with a Blog where people can donate to save endangered animals. Because she went on to inform me that when she is done saving the elephants there are lots more animals that need her help.
